Established in 2005, the San Luis Obispo Group is located about halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles on thecentral coast. It is a beautiful area and represents the northern area of the PMI California Central Coast Chapter. 

Our PMI meetings are typically held in San Luis Obispo on the second Thursday of every month. San Luis Obispo Area Director – Mark Coleman

Mark Coleman, PMP, is a Principal Engineer and Senior Project Manager for Pacific Gas & Electric Company. He has over 30 years experience managing large, complex industrial construction projects as well as managing technical programs. During his career, he has worked for American Maintenance and Engineering Service, Bechtel, Public Service Electric & Gas, United Engineers & Constructors, and Westinghouse. As an author, Mr. Coleman has published several technical papers. Additionally, he has been the chair and/or served on several utility industry committees. Mark is the Director of the PMI San Luis Obispo Committee and is a frequent speaker at monthly PMI meetings. Recent presentations include "Lessons Learned the Hard Way: Contracts & Specifications" and "Tools, Tips and Techniques for the Unintended Project Manager".
