About the Presentation:
The objective is to present attendees with a roadmap on how to become PMP certified, with emphasis on the application completion process. Presentation will focus on understanding the application requirements, collection and categorization of information on project experience, through application completion and submission. This step by step guide will enable propective applicant navigate through the certification application process with ease.
About the Speaker:
Tunde Deru holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lagos. He is a PMI member for 4 years and a certified Project Management Profession with over a decade's experience and expertise in managing projects. Over the past fifteen years, Tunde has managed projects in the construction; telecommunications; food and beverage; oil and gas industries.
Other Information:
Pizza, snacks and refreshments will be provided. To cover expenses and allow for better preparation we ask members to sign up online on the chapter web site. As always, guests and walk-ins are also welcome. Attending this interesting presentation will provide one PDU towards maintaining the currency of your PMI Certification. Enjoy the company of fellow project professionals. If you are working towards PMI certification, bring your questions. The first 30 minutes of our monthly meeting is dedicated to networking and you will have plenty opportunity talking to holders of the PMI certificate you might desire.
The cost of the events is $10.00 for members and $15.00 for non-members. We welcome students interested in Project Management to attend at no cost.
