Topic: Leveraging Strategic Planning & Creating Value Through A Culture Of Accountability

Although most organizations embark on a strategic planning process, the results and accountability to assure planning becomes reality is frequently not accomplished. The process is generally slanted toward financial attainment and based upon prior years’ performance with minimal regard, other than sales quota, to milestone measurement and accountability.

For strategic planning to be successful, an organization must embrace the process and create an environment where all involved see the implementation as part of the organization’s culture. Through this presentation, you will be able to gain a better understanding of the components of planning and explore the options available to a company to create a culture of accountability. You will be able to answer a series of questions to identify how effective your company is in implementing planning and review options for improving communication and productivity.

We will explore the most effective means of creating accountability and building an inclusive culture that creates individual as well as collective value.

 David Shaffer has served as President, Managing Director, Business Advisor and COO for multiple companies including manufacturing, construction, health and elder care, distribution, services and information technology.

He has assisted companies from executive strategic planning into operational and business process improvement and been recognized as a recipient of the Mark of Quality award for extemporary client service.

David Holds an MBA from Pepperdine University in Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
