Biographical Information

Karine is our current President and returning for another term. She is a highly accomplished, results-driven Project Manager possessing exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. She offers over 15 years of experience leading diverse technology projects through all phases of delivery. She is able to simultaneously manage multiple projects, while maintaining a proven record of leading complex projects to successful completion on time and within budget.

Karine’s Fortune 500 experience spans multiple companies including DIRECTV, Bank of America, and Countrywide. Karine consistently demonstrates outstanding leadership and project management skills. She works hard to build partnerships with executives, key stakeholders, team members, and peers. As an officer of the board of Directors of PMI California Central Coast Chapter, she facilitates the fulfillment of key resources required to run the chapter and mentors aspiring Project Managers. She has MBA in Technology Management and BS in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge

Biographical Information

  • I am current Vice president of Programs for PMI-4C chapter
  • Have over 12 years’ experience in Project management with strong negotiating skills.
  • Have successfully executed projects up to 100+ million in different sectors such as Medical, Military, and Telecommunication etc. including international project by working with virtual teams.
  • Successfully managed to grow a business from prototype to annual sales of $120+M USDs
  • Volunteered for years for City of Simi Valley: Neighborhood council and CDBG Advisory Committee

Kevin Etemadi

VP of Finance and Administration

Biographical Information

Mr. Etemadi has extensive experience in IT, healthcare, and finance. Kevin has a B.S. in Management from Pepperdine University as well as an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management

Kevin has a long history supporting the PMI-4c Board of Directors in various capacities over the years, and he looks forward to continuing in that tradition as VP of Finance for the chapter.

 

Sita Mojaradi

VP of Membership and Growth

Biographical Information

Sita Mojaradi is a leading industry professional with many years of proven experience in all aspects of the project management and leadership in many different organizations.
Ms. Mojaradi has been involved and volunteered at American Medical Coding organization as the Secretary of membership, at Toastmaster as the Vice President of the local chapter and currently applying at PMI local chapter.
Sita is in constant educational programs; as well as, sharing my knowledge with others.
Her previous roles were as follow and will always look in to improving and assisting others with their progress.

Sita has special expertise in many diverse advanced technological areas. Works well both independently and as part of a team in an aggressive, deadline-driven environment.

Sita is looking forward to be part of the 4C PMI local chapter volunteer staff and perform my best for all the members and the chapter leadership.

 

 

Rob Tucker

VP of Operations and Strategy

Biographical Information

Rob Tucker has nearly 30 years of experience in the IT world. He spent about 5 years in computer operations, then secured a position as a Jr. Programmer and eventually progressed to Sr. Programmer/Analyst and Sr. Programmer/Web Developer. Currently he is working as a Sr. Programmer/Analyst while also performing as a project lead the last 2 years. He graduated with high honors, earning an AAS in Information Technology at the College of Southern Maryland and has recently returned to school as a part-time student at CSUCI, working towards a BA in Information Technology. Rob has volunteered for several non-profits, holding many high-level leadership and Board of Directors positions.

Michael Haupt

VP of Communications and Marketing

Biographical Information

Michael Haupt is the chapter's current VP of Operations and is the CEO of the Project Management Knowledge Academy in Thousand Oaks, California.  PMK Academy is a leading provider of instructor-led Project Management Workshops and Training offered in flexible training formats suitable for virtually any learning situation.  As part of Project Management Training, Michael is also involved in teaching Project Management Courses for DeVry University in Sherman Oaks, California and the Keller Graduate School of Management in Sherman Oaks, California.

Michael was the Director of Sales in North America for Tiba LLC, a Project Management training and consulting company located in Southfield, Michigan with headquarters in Munich, Germany. 

Michael also recently worked as an Engagement Manager for Humphreys and Associates, one of the top Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) consulting companies in the United States.  He was recently involved with the largest Aerospace & Defense ERP/EVMS system implementation in the United States for the F-35 Program at Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas.

Mr. Haupt has served as the VP of Sales for Waer System's International Aerospace and Defense Practice and the Director of Sales for Epic Data's Aerospace and Defense Vertical. 

He was the Industry Director for Oracle Corporation’s Aerospace and Defense Practice, and the Industry Manager for Aerospace and Defense for SAP America and the Baan Company.  He has worked in implementation consulting for Accenture and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.   He also served as the President of Frontier Solutions, a management consulting and education firm in Calabasas, California.

Mr. Haupt has over 25 years of experience in Program/Project management, Earned Value Management, ERP System Implementation, and Sales and Marketing of complex ERP/Supply Chain Management, EVMS/Program and Project Management Systems for the Aerospace and Defense Industry.

He holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and is APICS certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and is a frequent speaker at APICS International conferences and APICS dinner meetings, PMI dinner Meetings, as well as other Aerospace & Defense related organizations. 

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Business Administration from Texas Christian University and a Masters of International Management from Baylor University.


SherryStewart

Sherry Stewart

VP of Communications and Marketing

Biographical Information

Sherry Stewart, PMP, is currently a Senior Program Manager with over 25 years’ experience managing complex, high technology programs in the Aerospace and Defense industry.

In her current role, she heads up the Division’s Program Controls group providing leadership and guidance while working closely with Division management on various process improvement initiatives. In her previous assignments at Orbital ATK, she served as Deputy Program Manager on high visibility Navy weapon development programs providing the necessary management and oversight for effective and repeatable integration of program schedule, cost and technical elements as required by the Government customer. She has led the Division’s Program Controls group, as well as supporting Proposal development from RFP through Contract negotiations. Sherry’s previous work experience also includes positions in Contracts, Subcontracts and Finance for a wide range of classified and unclassified programs.

Additionally, Sherry has also worked in the field of Biotechnology focusing on Engineering Excellence operational and process improvement projects leading to corporate wide implementation of an Enterprise Project Management Portfolio tool, Governance process for Global Capital Project Management Execution as well as an established Engineering Operations business cadence.

Sherry has co-authored several company Earned Value Management (EVM) System Descriptions, and has led teams through EVM System implementation as well as Integrated Baseline Reviews to EVM System certification.

She is actively engaged with the Project Management Institute facilitating others in Project Management coursework to prepare them for PMP certification.
