Ron is a project management professional with over 25 years of experience in telecommunications-related project management, governance, software development, and systems engineering. Ron’s spent most of his early career working for key companies in the aerospace and defense industry Los Angeles. After a decade of working in Los Angeles, he moved to London where he supported multiple mobile operators in the United Kingdom and Europe. After returning to America, Ron has been actively involved in PMI while supporting project delivery in the entertainment, finance, and wireless industries.
Ron is currently supporting Nokia’s 5G core network implementation at T-Mobile.
Ron has served at PMI California Central Coast Chapter as the Director of Membership, VP of Membership, VP of Programs and is the 2023 President.
His hobbies include tennis, photography, golf, and music.

Alejandro (Alex) Chavez has been a certified Project Management Professional for 12 years and has served as the VP of Strategy & Operations for three terms. He is currently a project manager at Anacapa Micro. Alejandro has worked in Information Technology while supporting the Federal Government and Aerospace industries for more than 20 years.
Alex is an avid runner and plays acoustic bass guitar for his church.

Casey Weihert is a well-experienced project management professional with his origins starting in the US Navy (10 years in submarines), where Project Management soft skills were solidified. He has volunteered for PMI’s California Central Coast Chapter (PMI-4C) for two years as Director of Finance & Administration before taking on this role as VP of Finance & Administration. He also volunteers as Regional Coordinator for Future City SoCal which hosts a STEM 6/7/8 grader competition once annually. When he’s not working or volunteering, beach volleyball, yoga and running take up his time as he resides in sunny Santa Barbara.

Seroj Shirvanian has been volunteering for PMI’s California Central Coast Chapter (PMI-4C) for 12 years. His PMI-4C work has evolved from VP of Operations to the VP of Membership. He is a result’s oriented, team player.
Seroj is a hand’s on leader whose management career has been marked by demonstrated ability to build peak-performing teams and achieve cross-functional business objectives. He has executive management experience in all aspects of technology and expertise in data management (data governance, data quality, master data management, and metadata, conversions and migrations).
Seroj is currently working as a consultant in data governance and risk management domains.
When he is not volunteering for PMI-4C, he enjoys playing chess, tennis, and soccer. He love’s history and current world events.

The Vice President of Communications and Marketing shall be responsible for (1) maintenance of external and internal communications established by the Chapter, which can include, but not be limited to the Newsletter, Advertising, e-mail blast distribution lists, SharePoint content and Chapter Web site content, public relations, publicity & marketing; (2) any other functions deemed necessary by the Board to support the ongoing Communications and Marketing needs of the Chapter; (3) promoting strategic alliances with corporate, educational, and community organizations, including brand management and managing relationships with these organizations.
