Risk management is recognized as an essential tool to tackle the inevitable uncertainty associated with business and projects at all levels. This presentation builds on the PMI principles and uses the space shuttle Challenger disaster as a case study to gain an appreciation of the impact of qualitative and quantitative analysis on decision making.
