ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:
Cindy M. Lewis
This past December, Cindy and Mei presented to 11 different PMI chapters concurrently and we are excited that they are speaking to our chapter! Both of our speakers received a Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award from Microsoft in July 2025.
Cindy M. Lewis has more than thirty years of experience in project management as a trainer and consultant, working with clients to provide solutions. She is the author of Microsoft Project Step by Step and holds recognition as a Microsoft MVP and Microsoft Certified Trainer. She also holds the PMP and PMI-SP credentials from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
She developed the 4 Pillars of Success® training philosophy, which is available on her website, and has received awards from the PMI Western Michigan chapter for working as a volunteer and mentor in the PM Collegiate Competition for over 10 years and for maintaining her PMP credential for over 25 years.
Cindy earned an MBA from Regis University and works as a part-time professor at Grand Valley State University, teaching accelerated project management and artificial intelligence courses for students seeking advanced certificates. She offers several courses on LinkedIn Learning and regularly participates in PMI events and conferences related to Microsoft 365 and project management topics.
Mei Lin
Mei Lin is a dynamic Innovation Strategist at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), where she leads high-impact initiatives and digital transformation into higher education, project management, and public sector innovation. With over 15 years of experience across technology, education, and strategic program leadership, Mei is recognized for making complex innovation practical and accessible—always with a strong foundation in empathy and change management. A certified PMP, Microsoft Copilot 365 MVP, and AI-certified professional, Mei excels at turning chaos into clarity, building digestible improvements that solve real-world program challenges through use of technology.
She champions human-centered design, balancing cutting-edge tools with the need to ensure physical safety, emotional resilience, and inclusive stakeholder engagement. Her work enhances productivity, digital equity, and operational excellence, all while supporting the human side of transformation. When she’s not presenting or building AI playbooks, Mei mentors youth, supports stay-at-home parents re-entering the workforce.
