Topic: Let’s Debrief Q1 to Evaluate your Career to Make a Plan for the Rest of the Year As project management professionals, you are accustomed to debriefing with project teams to uncover best practices and make a plan for moving forward. Are you using that same opportunity to manage your own career? As we face constant change in today’s business environment it’s imperative to take time to debrief. In this session you’ll have the opportunity to get started in evaluating aspects of your career in the first quarter of 2017 to make an action plan for what to Start, Stop and Keep to make a plan for the rest of the year. Some of the questions we’ll focus on during this interactive session: Where did I excel? What went well? What did not? What business partnerships do I want to develop? What skill do I need to master this year? About Lynete J. Ward Lynnette is a Career Consultant who believes in the power to choose our work. She has a unique ability to motivate and influence others to take action and adapt to change as she trains and coaches people across all functions and industries to build lifelong career management strategies. She specializes in management and career development as she consults on behalf of organizations including Leadership Choice, Right Management and Los Angeles Valley College Workforce Training; in addition to coaching individuals as they navigate career choices. Prior to career consulting, Lynnette held management and sales roles at Time Inc. on behalf of LIFE, PEOPLE and TIME. Lynnette graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science degree and is a member of the Association for Talent Development.
