Topic: Agile as a Disrupter: From Theory to Meeting Finance’s Expectations The presentation will not only provide a comprehensive introduction to Agile theory, but it will also cover many of the key implementation issues faced when introducing Agile into organizations. Topics covered shall include: Implementing Agile at the Project-level Adopting Agile across the Organization Managing the disruptive impact of Agile on organizational reporting structures Mitigating conflicts between Agile and traditional financial and legal requirements Learn about Agile in 3 simple steps: Step 1 will provide a solid understanding of Agile methodology: terms, approaches, ceremonies, tools, and techniques. A person will be able to talk and work within an Agile environment. This step will show why Agile project management is FUN! Step 2 will provide the solution for implementing Agile beyond an individual Agile team, based on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) approach. This step will map the SAFe solution to the engagement and integration of projects across the organization and harnessing the power of Agile to move the total organization forward! Step 3 will tackle the issue that traditional budgeting, contracting, and corporate planning are designed to work with Waterfall and not Agile. How can Agile support, engage, and work with corporate reporting requirements? This is the BIG ELEPHANT as Agile becomes the force for productivity and change!
